Questions?
We’ve got answers brought to you by Software’s skincare experts.

Yes! The Salicylic Foaming Wash can be incorporated into your routine once your skin has adjusted to Software’s personalised Acne, Ageing or Pigmentation formulas. We recommend waiting 6-8 weeks before introducing it gradually.
The Salicylic Foaming Wash contains BHAs. To avoid over-exfoliating your skin, we recommend using it 2-3 times a week only, and a gentle cleanser at other times.
To minimise irritation, we do not recommend combining salicylic acid products with other active ingredients such as retinol, vitamin C, and niacinamide. If your skin is extra sensitive, this may result in side effects such as redness and flushing.
Instead, use the Salicylic Foaming Wash at different times or days if you are also using the Retinol Complex Oil, Vitamin C + Ferulic Serum, or niacinamide products. This would ensure the effectiveness of each product isn't reduced.
Salicylic acid is a BHA that exfoliates the skin, unclogs blocked pores, and clears away dead skin cells, dirt and oil.
Yes! When your pores become clogged with dead skin cells and debris, pimples tend to appear. Salicylic acid dissolves these dead skin cells while also reducing the skin’s production of sebum (oil), leading to fewer breakouts. It also encourages a faster healing time for inflamed pimples.
Yes, the Salicylic Foaming Wash is safe for pregnancy and breast-feeding.
